FAQ
When will my order Ship?
Orders are shipped within 1-3 days, as long as everything is running smoothly. However, unexpected delays can sometimes happen. If there’s any issue, I’ll let you know right away.
How do keep my candles from fading or weakening?
To protect your candles from fading or weakening, keep them away from direct sunlight, bright fluorescent lights, and temperatures above 80°F. Store them in a cool, dark place to help them last longer and keep their scent fresh.
What are the candles made of?
Our candles are made from our proprietary soy blends, premium essential fragrance oils, and clean cotton wicks. Each chosen for its unique qualities.
Should I trim the wick?
It’s important to keep an eye on the wick. Trim it to a quarter-inch if it develops a carbon mushroom or seems too long. This helps the candle burn cleanly, prevents excessive flickering and smoke, and extends its lifespan.
Why does my candle have wax on the sides of the jar?
It’s normal for a bit of wax to stick to the sides, but it usually evens out. If too much wax clings to the sides, it could be tunneling—caused by various factors, though it’s uncommon with our high-quality ingredients.
Smoke from my candle - what does it mean?
Smoke can appear for various reasons. To keep the flame steady, make sure the wick is properly trimmed and place the candle in a draft-free area. Avoid spots with air currents or heavy foot traffic that might disrupt the flame.
Why is there a mushroom bloom on my wick?
It’s a good reminder to trim your wick. This is common, especially in highly fragranced candles.
How do I extinguish the flame without creating smoke?
Avoid blowing out the flame, as it can create smoke and splatter hot wax. Instead, use a wick snuffer or a fire-resistant lid to gently extinguish the flame.
Do your wicks contain lead?
No, our candles are completely safe. Lead has been banned for a long time and is never used in our products.
Do your products ship on weekends?
Yes, candles can be sensitive to heat. During hot summer months, try to avoid leaving them in warm delivery trucks over the weekend. It’s best to have someone available to receive them to keep them from sitting in the sun too long.
Do you deliver to PO Boxes?
Yes, as long as your PO box can accept packages, we can deliver your order there.
How long until my order ships
Shipping times can vary depending on the season. We strive to send out orders quickly, usually within a few days. You’ll receive tracking information to help you keep an eye on your order’s progress.

If your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us using our 'Contact Us' form. Keep the item in its original packaging for return.
Can I return a scent that I don't care for?
Unfortunately, we can’t exchange candles based on scent preferences, as everyone experiences scents differently. However, a candle that isn’t your favorite might make a perfect gift for someone else.
Can I reuse my candle jars for a new purpose?
The glass container may weaken over time and shouldn’t be reused as a candle holder. However, it’s still great for other uses, like holding small items or trinkets around your home.
Why should I stop burning the candle when a half-inch of wax remains?
For safety, it’s important to let your candle burn only until the wick is near the bottom. The heat can increase and may cause the glass to crack. Always place your candles on heat-resistant surfaces.
